Many covers are produced from a standard mold, with plates added as needed (city name, cover purpose, etc.) .

Standards
Some covers bear the certification mark of the Standards Institution of Israel , as well as Israeli Standard 489, which applies to covers located in areas used by vehicles or pedestrians .
The European standard EN124 and its associated load classes are found on many covers, with the most common classes being B125 and D400 .

Typical Covers
Many of the covers are round concrete ones, sometimes with a metallic label . Another common type features multiple concentric circles with an emblem at the center , or a background of + symbols with a central emblem .
