General

All covers were photographed in the vicinity of Luton Airport; it is possible that within the town itself there are additional types of covers.

The covers in Luton are generally made of metal and are rectangular or square in shape (a square cover with truncated corners was also found, effectively forming an octagonal shape ).

No colored or gold-toned covers were found in Luton, nor any covers bearing city emblems.
A relatively large number of diagonal covers were found in Luton - square or rectangular covers composed of two triangles, opened by lifting one of the triangles .

In general, the design of covers in Luton is not distinctive and corresponds to typical designs of the manufacturers.

The function of the cover does not appear on it, except for drainage covers identifiable by the drainage slots .
