The beginning of the historic Oxford Castle route, consisting of 14 plaques depicting landmarks on the site from 700 AD to 2006

St Frideswide Holy Patron of Oxford and also of the University of Oxford, Princess and Mother Abbey, founder of the first church in the city. Today the city’s cathedral is where the church stood.
