A gift from the city of Brussels to the city of Tel Aviv on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.

This is what the explanatory sign reads:
The tiles carpet is a tribute to the "Half a Million Flowers Carpet" which was placed in Rabin Square during the city’s Centennial, a gift of the city of Brussels to Tel Aviv - Yafo in honor of its 100th anniversary.
The carpet is made up of samples of tiles that were used to floor the homes of the first residents and our city.
