A standard of the Mexican Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) for covers manufactured for its use.

84A is a standard used on roads for covers designed to withstand loads caused by vehicles.

This standard distinguishes between covers made of metal and those made of plastic (composite materials):
2DI00-37 is used for metal covers, while 2DI00-38 is used for covers made of composite materials.
