ZSM = Zakłady Sprzętu Mechanicznego - Mechanical Equipment Factories.
The factory was founded in 1864 by Rudolf Peter and Reinhold Zopp. The company went through many revolutions, and different names, and in 1959 began operating under the name ZSM, producing clutch for tractors. In 1998 the factory was built in Chełmno.
