A factory established at the end of the 19th century, specializing mainly in the production of glazed stoneware pipes (Steinzeugröhren) and fire-resistant bricks (Chamotte), which formed the foundation for the development of modern underground sewer systems due to their resistance to acids and abrasion.
The company played a major role in the construction of Vienna’s monumental sewer network (the "Wiener Stadterweiterung" and the city’s sanitation network developed during the late 19th century).
