Hier stand im Mitelalter eine Synagoge, die bis 1421 Zentrum des jüdischen Lebens In Wien war. An dieser Stelle befand sich die Bima, das Podium zur Tora-Leung.

In medieval times this was the site of a synagogue, which until 1421 wes the center of Jewish life in Vienne. The Bimah (the podium for reading the Torah) was in this exact spot.
