At the top of the lid appears the word สัมพันธวงศ์ which means Samphanthawong - the district where Bangkok’s Chinatown is located.
Note that the letters are designed in a similar way to Chinese characters because of the theme that appears on the lid.

On the lid, a family in traditional Chinese clothing gathers for a meal with traditional Chinese dishes (dim sum, a Chinese teapot and fish).
