A round lid surrounded by a round frame

In 2018, the City of Calgary decided to replace the sewer/drainage manhole covers, etc., with artistic covers. The current lid was designed by The current cover was designed by Jeff Kulak and depicts the process of separating waste from wastewater: 4 components of waste - fat, oil, biological components and hazardous materials are eliminated, resulting in pure water, as seen in the artwork.

This cover also appears without the round frame
